I’m delighted with the full repointing of our house, an extended 3 bed semi, which Airtight Roofing and Pointing did for us recently (October 2024).
Graham was easy to talk to and straightforward to deal with from start to finish. He came out to see the job the day after I initially spoke to him and gave us a really competitive price. We shook hands on it and agreed a date the following month for the work to begin. I really liked his no-nonsense ‘dead straight’ approach to doing business.

Sure enough, Airtight turned up when they said they would and cracked straight on with the work. I didn’t know at the time I’d booked them, but all of the guys seemed to be related to Graham, so it’s definitely a family firm. What was really apparent from the start was that they all knew their work, functioned really well together as a crew and took pride in doing a great job. I was also impressed with how many people they put on the job and their work ethic, which extended to doing a good clean up at the end of every day. They were all great guys, who were easy to talk to, explained everything to me clearly and minimised any disruption during the work. They were definitely ‘grafters’ and I felt we got really good value for money especially when I saw how much work was actually involved in the job.

Another thing worth mentioning is that they put enough people on the job and kept them there until it was finished so the job was done fairly quickly too and didn’t drag on any longer than it needed to.
The whole house looks much better since the work has been done and one of our walls, which was in a really poor state, has been completely transformed by the work, which included replacing a number of bricks. It was really evident when doing this wall that Airtight did the job properly and didn’t take any shortcuts, which I really appreciated.
